At Artila Studios LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), your privacy is of utmost importance to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our mobile application, Tydai (“App”). We are committed to safeguarding your personal data and ensuring transparency in our data practices. By using Tydai, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Definitions

  • Personal Data: Any information that can identify you personally, such as your email address, name.

  • Processing: Any operation performed on your Personal Data, whether automated or manual, such as collection, storage, use, or deletion.

  • Data Controller: The entity that determines the purposes and means of processing your Personal Data, which in this case is Artila Studios LLC.

  • Data Processor: Any third party that processes Personal Data on behalf of the Data Controller.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

a. Personal Information

When you sign up for Tydai, we collect:

  • Email Address: Used for account creation and communication.

  • Password: Secured and stored using industry-standard encryption methods.

  • Username and Profile Picture (if provided): Used to personalize your experience.

All personal information is securely stored and managed by Supabase, our data storage provider. Supabase Privacy Policy


b. AI-Generated Content Metadata

We collect metadata related to the images you generate using Tydai, including:

  • Timestamps: Date and time of image creation.

  • Image Prompts: The text prompt used to create the image

  • Image stats: Likes, dislikes, comments, saves, and download counts. 

This metadata is stored in Supabase and is retained until your account is deleted.

c. Advertising Data

Google AdMob may collect:

  • Device Information: Such as device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.

  • App Usage Data: Interactions within the app, preferences, and settings.

  • Location Data: General location based on IP address or device settings.

We do not control how Google AdMob processes this data. You can review their privacy practices in the Google AdMob Privacy Policy.

d. Payment Information

All purchases, including subscriptions and in-app purchases, are processed by the Apple App Store. We DO NOT collect or store any credit card or payment details. However, we store:

  • User ID: Identifier linked to your App Store account.

  • Transaction ID: Reference for your purchases.

This information is stored in Supabase for internal reference and is retained until account deletion.

e. Content Filtering Data

To maintain a safe and respectful community environment, we implement an automated content filtering system that analyzes User-Generated Content for offensive or inappropriate material. This involves:

  • Content Sent for Analysis: Only the textual content of comments is sent to third-party filtering services, such as Google’s Perspective API, for analysis. No personally identifiable information (PII) is included in the data transmitted for filtering purposes.

  • Purpose of Processing: The primary purpose of using this data is to identify and filter potentially offensive content, thereby enhancing the community experience and adhering to our content standards.

  • Data Retention: Data processed by third-party filtering services is handled in real-time and is not stored on their servers when configured with privacy settings (e.g., the doNotStore flag with Google’s Perspective API).

  • User Control: Users have the option to enable or disable the content filtering feature within their account settings. Enabling this feature activates automatic content analysis and filtering, while disabling it stops such processing.

  • All content filtering operations are performed in compliance with applicable laws and third-party policies. For more information, please refer to the Google Perspective API Privacy Policy.

f. User-Generated Content
We store the following types of content generated or uploaded by users:

  • AI-Generated Images: Images created using the Tydai AI image generator.

  • Profile Pictures: Images uploaded by users to personalize their profiles.

  • Comments: Users may comment on each other’s pictures

  • Usernames: Users may choose their username and change it at any time. 

  • Account Bio: Users may include a short bio about themselves which appears on their profile. They can change or remove their bio at any time. 

These images are stored securely in a Cloudflare R2 storage bucket. Only the image paths are stored in our Supabase database, and no personal data is stored in Cloudflare. Cloudflare does not have access to personal user information. For more details, refer to the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and Maintain the App: Ensure functionality and improve performance.

  • Enhance User Experience: Personalize content and features based on your preferences.

  • Moderate Content: Enforce community guidelines and ensure a safe environment.

  • Content Filtering: Analyze and filter User-Generated Content for offensive or inappropriate material using third-party services like Google’s Perspective API.

  • Communicate with Users: Send updates, newsletters, and promotional materials (with your consent).

We process your personal data based on the following lawful bases:

  • Consent: By using our App and agreeing to this policy, you consent to the collection and processing of your data.

  • Contractual Necessity: To provide and maintain the App’s services as per our agreement with you.

  • Legitimate Interests: To improve our services, manage user interactions, and display relevant content and ads, provided these interests are not overridden by your rights.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use Google AdMob and similar technologies that employ cookies and tracking for personalized advertising. Additionally, our App may use first-party cookies to enhance functionality.

Managing Cookies:

  • Device Settings: You can manage your cookie preferences through your device’s settings.

  • Ad Preferences: Opt out of personalized ads via Google’s Ad Settings.

Disabling certain cookies may limit ad personalization but will not affect the core functionality of the App.

8. App Permissions

To provide Tydai’s functionality, we may request access to certain device features:

  • Storage Access: To save AI-generated images and related data locally on your device. This access is solely for enabling App functionality and enhancing your user experience.

App Tracking Transparency Our app uses App Tracking Transparency (ATT) to request permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. This allows us to:

  • Deliver personalized ads through Google AdMob

  • Analyze app performance to improve your experience

If you decline tracking, you will still have access to all app features, but ads may be less relevant to your interests. You can update your tracking preferences anytime in your device settings.

By including this information, your privacy policy remains transparent, user-focused, and compliant with relevant guidelines like Apple's App Store requirements and data protection laws.

Managing Permissions:

You can manage or revoke these permissions through your device’s settings at any time.

9. International Data Transfers


Tydai processes and stores user metadata, including account and usage information, on Supabase servers located in the United States (Northeast region).

For users located in the European Union (EU) or other jurisdictions with strict data transfer regulations, we implement Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to ensure your data receives the same level of protection as required under GDPR. These SCCs are legally binding agreements between us and our data processors to uphold high standards of privacy and security.

All data transfers are encrypted during transit and at rest, and we implement additional safeguards, such as access controls and anonymization where applicable.

10. Data Retention

We retain your personal data and metadata only for as long as necessary to provide our services or until your account is deleted. Specific retention periods include:

  • Personal Information: Retained until account deletion.

  • Metadata: Retained until account deletion.

  • Content Filtering Data: Retained only for the duration of the content analysis process and not stored beyond immediate processing needs.

If you wish to request deletion of your data and your account, please use the option available in the App’s settings to request for an account deletion. Accounts will be permanently deleted 72 hours after the request has been received. You may cancel your request at any time prior to the account deletion both in the app itself, or contact us at https://www.artilastudios.com/support.


11. Blocking Users

Tydai allows users to block other users. When you block someone:

  • Visibility: Both you and the blocked user will no longer see each other’s content.

  • Interaction: Interactions through comments or other features are disabled.

  • Reversal: You can unblock the user at any time through the App’s settings, restoring visibility and interaction.

Data Implications:

Blocking does not delete any data but restricts interactions and visibility between users.

We implement commercially reasonable measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard protocols.

  • Access Controls: Strict access controls to ensure only authorized personnel can access your data.

Note: While we strive to protect your data, no security system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access or breaches.


13. Children’s Privacy

Tydai is rated 13+ and is not intended for children under the age of 13. By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has registered without parental consent, please contact us immediately at support@artilastudios.com.  We will promptly delete any data collected from the child unless required by law.


14. Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe your data has been handled improperly or have concerns about our data processing practices, you have the right to:

  • Lodge a Complaint: File a complaint with a data protection authority in your country.
